Autumn Spirit

Five tips on
decorating your home
this fall to add
warmth, comfort, and
Autumn spirit.

1.  Dark Leather

On a brisk fall day, magine coming home to warm living room and lounging in your chair in front of the fireplace.  Leather is incredibly versatile in terms of style, goes great with fall colored accents (of which I mention further down), low maintenance, and timeless.  Having dark colored furniture in your home will create a warm and cozy environment you'll fall in love with this fall season.

2.  Metallic Furniture and Accents

After summer is over, you want to move away from the bright sunny colors and transition into tones like metallic silver or gold.  These two tones still add life to a room but in a warmer way, and these colors are great accents for dark colored furniture or walls.

3.  Textured Accents

Texture incorporates depth into a room.  For a homely and comfy appeal try a dark shag rug, a few textured pillows
or a fluffy throw blanket.

4.  Rustic Elements

This is a great example of an earthy and rustic way to bring the warm, fall spirit into your home.  P.S. nothing is more inviting and mood setting in cooler weather than candles.

5.  Autumn hues that will add a dash of coziness
to your home
